ABOUT US

A very warm welcome to our - open all year round leisure park - camping, caravanning, group accommodation and pod hire in the jaw-droppingly-beautiful, little French wine village of Merry-Sur-Yonne, Burgundy.

Fully refurbished (2016) and uniquely updated with one sole aim - to help you explore and have fun in one of the finest areas of France.

Family, children and pet friendly we are the perfect spot to slowdown and unwind whilst enjoying what our fabulous area has to offer. We know how hard you parents work and know that this is your holiday too - so we have created not just an outdoor play area for the younger ones, but for those tired of slides and swings – our awesome indoor games room crammed with the latest video games, pool and gizmos the kids will enjoy while you relax.

We have prided ourselves on putting you first. Pushing the boundaries of what camping is with modern, fresh and exciting facilities: Free WiFi, luxurious baths, latest gaming for children and children at heart! Camper’s kitchen, laundrette, professional tennis courts, free PC and internet point, baby changing, bike hire, outdoor chess and Lego, locally produced goods in our on-site shop. Daily fresh picnic hampers available to order and so much more!

Whether you enjoy walking, climbing, cycling or horse riding we can assure you that after a hard day of adventures in our picturesque village or its fantastic surroundings, there is a warm and comfortable welcome waiting for you on your return in our delicious café, evening restaurant or bustling bar that caters for multiple nationalities and ages.

We’ve ripped out the dismal and ramped up the relaxation. This is no ordinary camping! You will be very surprised.

New and fairer pricing structures – No hidden costs or extra charges. No silly pet or children charges - just one friendly price. Inexpensive meals in our beautiful café and restaurant and no early morning rush to leave.

Our aim, truly is, to simply make you happy. We’re reinventing the camping experience. Everyone is welcome. We are an English couple and including our staff we can speak French, German, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Tagalog and, of course, English.

Surrounded by the rejuvenating waters of the Yonne river and Nivernais canal – a canal considered by many sailors to be the most beautiful of all canals with its old tunnels and ancient vaults. The canal boasts many places to hire or buy boats and to fish or just relax as the soothing waters drift by on a quiet and sunny day.

We have various pitches – Hard standing and grass – both shaded or unshaded with generous spacing – we find there’s nothing worse than being able to shake hands with your camping neighbour through your caravan window!

Our Gite is available for individuals or groups up to 20. It’s cheap and cheerful, clean and warm with shared toilets and showers – aimed primarily at sports groups or anyone who likes bargain accommodation while on their adventures.

Disabled access throughout and a large fully disabled-access wet room. Ample parking. Motorhome service – you don’t need to stay.

Easily accessed from the A20 motorway and situated perfectly between Auxerre to the North and Dijon to the South we are an ideal holiday destination or a perfect stop-over if en-route further South. Our local train station (only 5 mins away) gives you access to Paris in 1 3⁄4 hours, Dijon in 40 mins and even further afield to Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium and beyond – all in under 3 hours!

So, what are you waiting for? Your pitch is ready for you and there’s a glass of Burgundy wine poured and perfectly ready for quaffing. All it takes now is you.....
