DIRECTIONS
From the North
Exit the A6 motorway for Auxerre.
Take the N6 towards Auxerre.
When approaching Auxerre, stay on the N6 ring road (signed Avallon & Dijon)
The N6 will join the D606
Stay on the D606 - at the first roundabout, go straight on (still D606) towards Avallon
Approx 2km after the roundabout, take the right turn onto the D100 (signed Vezelay and Chatel-Censoir)
Stay on the D100 (passing through Bazarnes, Trucy-sur-Yonne, eventually coming into Mailly-la-Ville)
On Mailly la Ville, carry on over the River, then the Canal.
After leaving Mailly-la-Ville, stay on D100 for approximately 4.5km
You will see a sharp right turn onto the D217 for the centre of Merry-sur-Yonne
(this is a tight turn, cross onto the oncoming carriage-way to make the turn)
You will pass over the canal and river and come into the village itself.
Carry on through the village and you will see the war memorial ahead of you, keep to the left of the war memorial and we are straight on at the bottom of the driveway.

From the South via RN151 and Clamecy
Stay on the RN151 bypassing Clamecy
The next village you will approach is Coulanges-sur-Yonne.
Just immediately at the entry to the village, take the right turn onto D21 (signposted Chatel Censoir)
DO NOT go through Coulanges-sur-Yonne and under NO CIRCUMSTANCES take the D39
(this is the way that all sat-navs choose and it is VERY VERY narrow!)
Follow the D21 to Chatel-Censoir.
In Chatel Censoir, turn left onto D100 and follow the road until you reach Merry-sur-Yonne.
It will then be a left turn onto the D217 then as above through the village.
From the South on A6 motorway
Take the exit for Avallon
After exiting the motorway Peage, take the right turn onto the D50 towards Avallon
You will join the D606 also towards Avallon
Stay on the D606 and do not go into Avallon centre
Follow signs for Auxerre whilst staying on the D606
At the roundabout with a Renault Garage on your left, take the 1st exit onto D606 (there will be a Lidl opposite you!)
Approx 8.5km from the Roundabout (still on D606), take the left turn onto D951 (signposted Vezelay)
Stay on the D951 for approx 3.5km (DO NOT take the right turn onto D206 for Blannay), instead take the right turn onto D21 for Montillot
Stay on D21 until you join the D100 in Chatel-Censoir - then as above to Merry-sur-Yonne
